okay so I've just come across this. I'm currently in Panama (work trip) and adding events as if I was in the UK. Microcosm is helpfully trying to put the event time forward to UK time... this is not helpful :)

I've forgotten the link to the top level (microcosm) 'dashboard' page in which I can view each o the microcosms that I've created.

Just to add to this: in my case a separate event for a recurring event would be best. Each of our club runs goes to a different, pre-determined location and has (as you say) different attendees etc.

For our chain gang on Sunday we do the same route but again it's good to have a new attendee list so that we can see how successful the events are.

Looking at the murky world of Wordpress three's a plugin by Tri.be that supports events and has additional (paid) support for adding Eventbrite ticketing. Without wishing to sound like it's my decision to make I would say there's definitely scope to take payment for less formal events while providing an integrated experience (in so much as showing the event and maybe the number of registered attendees/tickets left) for those offering something more professional. I'd certainly prefer users to make a £5 payment for a club social event in 1-2 clicks than necessitate another service login.

I would be keeping everything (other than club business) public it's merely that the forum would be for paid up members only to contribute. It's enough for me to know that it's there and in the pipeline so no need for me to use the API (but thanks for the offer!).
